ZWO ASI120MM Mini Monochrome CMOS Camera And Guide Camera

What a fantastic mini guider that will work in Off Axis Guiders. Great performance and focuses at the same distance as an eyepiece. It also makes a heck of an intro planetary imager.

The ZWO ASI120MM mini will help take the guesswork out of guiding.  And before we get lost in the mindset of being a guider, it is a great introductory planetary imager as well.  Its small size makes it convenient to use in your imaging platform without causing much of a fuss.

Camera Sensor

ASI120MM Mini camera uses the AR0130CS 1/3″ sensor (4.8 mm x 3.6 mm).  This camera has 1280 x 960 pixels with a pixel size of 3.75 μm x 3.75 μm. The ASI120MM provides 12bit ADC and its QE peak is almost 80%.

Astrophotography Performance

The ASI120 mini-camera offers you very good performance for planetary imaging as well as for guiding. Low read noise, high dynamic range, AR protective window and much more are just some of the key characteristics that set it apart from the competition.
