This dual ring single-piece clamshell tube holder mounts a Takahashi TOA-130 on an equatorial mount .
This 155mm i.d. tube holder is designed specifically to mount the Takahashi TOA-130 and TOA-130F on a Takahashi German equatorial mount.
For maximum stability, this tube holder has dual rings cast in a single-piece hinged clamshell assembly. It is felt lined, with chromed hinges and a single large locking knob. There are two unthreaded holes on the bottom for attaching to Takahashi equatorial mounts, to the #BPLATE B-T Technology dovetail plate, Losmandy DUP dovetail plates, etc.
A flat boss with a 1/4'-20 bolt on the top of the ring can be used as a piggyback camera mount.
