The Telrad 2.5" Riser Base gives you a simple way to raise your Telrad reflex sight to a more comfortable height on your telescope. Designed for those who find the stock Telrad placement a bit too low—especially on large Dobsonians or Newtonians—this riser improves eye-level access without the extra height of the 4" version.

This 2.5" riser inserts between your existing Telrad and its mounting base. It raises the Telrad finder just enough to clear focuser knobs, tube curves, or other accessories, making it easier to get behind the finder without twisting or hunching. It’s a perfect match for observers who want better ergonomics but don’t need a full 4 inches of lift.

Made of rugged black plastic to match the Telrad’s housing, the riser uses the same dovetail-style slide-in system as the standard base. Installation is quick and tool-free—just slide it in and go. Your Telrad locks in just as securely as before, only at a more convenient viewing height.
