This Takahashi 2" adapter is used to connect the Takahashi collimating scope to the 2" focuser of takahashi reflectors and non-Takahashi telescopes.In order to use the Takahashi TCE0100 collimatingscope with Takahashi reflectors and non-Takahashi reflectors, such as the Astro-Tech and GSO Ritchey-Chrétiens, you will needthis TCN0055 adapter. The collimating scopethreads into the TCN0055 and the resulting collimating scope/adapter combination slips into the 2" focuser of the telescope.
