The S30910 Wave carbon fiber tripod is the perfect companion for your Wave strainwave mount.  Lightweight, yet sturdy the S30910 will have no issue carrying your gear.  It is a bit on the short side at 29" when fully extended, but that can be addressed by purchasing the optional S30912 Wave 7" tripod extension if you feel the need.  When fully retracted the tripod is only 19.7".  Combined with a weight of only 5.3 pounds, and you have one heck of a portable tripod.
