Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mini Latitude (EQ) Base

If you don't have a ball head mount on your current photo tripod, this "wedge" will fit the bill nicely.If you don't have a ball head mount on your current photo tripod, this "wedge" will fit the bill nicely.  You will need this or a ball mount to attach the Star Adventurer Mini to a photo tripod and have an easy to use equatorial mount.  You can attach this piece with either a 3/8" -16 or 1/4"-20 screw.  With Sky Watcher's Star Adventurer Equatorial Wedge Base users can adapt a standard photo tripod for use with the Star Adventurer mount. The wedge features a Vixen-style dovetail saddle, and a dovetail plate with a screw to attach the Star Adventurer mount.
