This rotator adapter will allow you to connect the .85x focal reducer/field flattener that was designed for the Evostar 80ED directly to your Evostar 72ED.  You will only need this if you have an Evostar 80ED reducer/field flattener and not the model designed for the Evostar 72ED.  The optional reducer/field flattener for the 80ED does a magnificent job of cleaning up the field and getting edges flat while speeding up your telescope.
