Best grab and go telescope I've ever had

"I bought the NEAF demo of this telescope. I've had this out under the sky at least 8 times in the last couple of months. I am currently only a visual observer. But I will say this is the best grab and go scope I've ever had. It is a little bit hefty. And you do have to add the extension unit to the back of the scope in order to use it visually. But that's all good. I actually use this on a small equatorial Mount with a couple of extra weights. It takes 2" eyepieces very well. I also have the Astro-Tech ED115 and I will say the build quality of the sky Rover looks to be every bit as good. Excellent for sweeping the Milky Way and does very well with my higher power eyepieces. Some of the excellent views I've had with this are splitting the double double in Lyra, m51 with a tiny bit of structure from a dark site, m13 looks excellent as well as m57 the ring nebula, m27 the dumbbell nebula Lagoon and Trifid. Basically, all of the major Messier showpiece objects look really good through the scope. Even better under dark skies. I've also observed Jupiter. With 90 mm and a shorter focal length, I didn't expect much, but I was still able to see the planet as a crisp disc with at least three bands and the red spot barely visible, but these were not under ideal seeing. The moon of course looks wonderful. Overall I really like the scope a lot, especially its size. It's very nice nylon carrying bag and the fact that it can be used on a small equatorial mount as a grab and go to take outside real quick if you want to do an hour's worth of viewing or to take with you."
