This Celestron accessory kit consists of fourteen Celestron 1.25" visual accessories that will get you started observing right with your new Celestron telescope - or any brand of telescope.

The Celestron accessory kit gives you five matched 1.25" fully multicoated Plössl eyepieces produced specifically for this kit. They come in focal lengths of 6, 8, 13, 17, and 32mm. The apparent field of view of these special eyepieces is a wide 50 degrees (43 degrees on the 32mm). Each has a soft rolldown rubber eyecup to shield your eye from ambient light.

You get a fully multicoated 2x 1.25" Barlow to double the power of the eyepieces.

To bring out surface structure and details in lunar and planetary observing, you get the following 1.25" eyepiece color filters: #12 medium yellow, #21 orange, #25A medium red, #56 light green, #58A dark green, and #80A medium blue.

You also get a 1.25" neutral density Moon filter to cut down the glare of our nearest celestial neighbor without affecting the color and increase the contrast of its features. The filter is also useful for splitting close binary stars, as it will reduce the glare of the brighter star of the pair so that the dimmer component isn't overwhelmed by the light of the brighter one.

Finally, all the accessories come in a locking aluminum-frame 13" x 11" x 5" hard carrying case with a die-cut foam interior to keep them conveniently handy in the dark. The case has room to store other eyepieces or small accessories, as well.
