The iOptron Leveling MiniPier (#8042) is a precision-machined aluminum riser designed specifically for iOptron's lightweight HAZ31 and HAZ46 alt-azimuth strain wave gear mounts. This compact pier extension provides extra clearance, improved leveling control, and seamless integration with compatible iOptron tripods—most notably the carbon fiber tripod (#8061A).

Whether you're balancing a longer optical tube or simply want a more ergonomic eyepiece position, the 8042 MiniPier adds flexibility without compromising stability or portability.

• Adds 6.7" (170mm) of Vertical Height:
  Increases spacing between your mount and tripod or pier base, helping avoid clearance issues with long OTA accessories or heavy gear trains.

• Precision Leveling Platform:
  Designed to support stable and accurate leveling—an important step for achieving smooth slewing and GoTo alignment with the HAZ mount series.

• Optimized for HAZ Mounts:
  The top plate includes a 3/8"-16 threaded post, ideal for securing the HAZ31 and HAZ46 mount heads without the need for additional adapters.

• Stable 4" Top Plate Diameter (102mm):
  Offers a solid interface with mount heads while minimizing weight and bulk—ideal for portable setups.

• Base Compatibility:
  The bottom of the pier features a 3/8"-16 threaded hole, and is designed to mate with bases that feature 3x M8 threaded holes spaced on a 114mm diameter circle.
