The AstroZap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield is purpose-built for this specific configuration, offering a precise fit for fork-mounted 9.25" SCTs (excluding GPS models) with a powerful combo of passive and active dew protection.

This dew shield is made from durable yet flexible black ABS plastic and wraps around the front of the OTA using a secure Velcro fastening strip. The velvet-lined interior acts as a light trap and thermal buffer, improving image contrast while helping delay the onset of dew.

To combat moisture actively, a built-in low-wattage heating element delivers consistent, gentle warmth to the corrector plate. Just connect the attached RCA jack to your favorite 12V dew controller (sold separately), and your scope is ready for long sessions under humid skies.

The design is tailored to clear the unique constraints of Celestron’s non-GPS fork mount assemblies, so it fits cleanly without interfering with your OTA’s motion or mounting hardware.
