Astrozap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield for Celestron and Meade 8" SCTs

This Astrozap Flexi-Heat heated dew shield fits most Celestron 8" Schmidt-Cassegrains (except the NexStar 8 GPS/I/SE) and most Meade 7" Maksutov-Cassegrains and 8" Schmidt-Cassegrains (except the LXD-55/75 versions). The flexible plastic rollup dew shield is made of black ABS plastic and lined with black felt to absorb both moisture and light. Its Velcro closures are sewn in place for durability.

The heater strip draws only 1.18 amps at full power (although power consumption at normal operating levels will generally be considerably less, particularly with the heat-conserving properties of the dew shield itself). It has a permanently attached 6' power cord terminated by a male RCA plug for connection to an optional (but required) heater control unit.
