Celestron 22 Pound Counterweight for Celestron CGE Pro and CGEM DX Equatorial Mounts

This Celestron 22 pound counterweight lets you balance extra-heavy accessory loads (such as a large photoguide refractor, accessory dovetail, mounting rings, and a camera) on a Celestron telescope mounted on a heavy duty Celestron CGE Pro or CGEM DX computerized go-to equatorial mount. It will also let you install and balance a heavy non-Celestron scope on a Celestron CGE Pro or CGEM DX mount (which come with only one 22 pound counterweight as standard equipment when a mount is bought alone). A hand-tighten knob holds the counterweight in place on each mount's 1.25" diameter declination shaft.It will not work with the 0.75" counterweight shaft standard CGEM mount, which uses 11 pound counterweight #1725 or 17 pound counterweight #1727.
