This AstroZap rigid aluminum dew shield is designed to fit Celestron 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes equipped with a single dovetail mounting rail—either along the bottom or top of the OTA. It’s a perfect fit for fork-mounted 14" SCTs, as well as OTA-only configurations that don’t include an upper accessory rail.
The dew shield’s precision-machined body wraps securely around the front cell, while a single notch accommodates the dovetail bar—so you maintain a snug fit without interference or twisting. Made from powder-coated aluminum with a felt-lined interior, the shield blocks dew formation and glare while enhancing image contrast.
Installation is simple: nylon thumbscrews grip the front cell without scratching or damaging your tube. Whether you’re imaging, observing, or hosting an outreach event, this rugged shield helps protect your optics in variable conditions.

Compatibility:
