This Astro-Tech 2" ND9 (neutral density 0.9) gray filter reduces the brightness and glare that can mask low contrast details during lunar and planetary observing with 2” eyepieces. It does so without affecting the natural colors of the solar system object being observed. Due to its low 13% light transmission, it works best in telescopes 6"-8” in aperture and larger.
