About Astronomics

Helping Astronomers Since 1979

For more than four decades, Astronomics has helped hundreds of thousands of astronomers explore the universe—from someone choosing a first telescope to experienced observers and astrophotographers building the system they’ve always wanted.

A lot has changed in astronomy since we opened our doors in 1979. But one thing hasn’t:

Good advice still matters.

Astronomics was built on knowing the equipment we sell, using it ourselves, and helping people choose what’s right for them—not simply what costs more. More than four decades later, that same philosophy still guides us.

When you call Astronomics, you’ll talk to real people who know astronomy, understand the equipment, and are happy to help.

Because our goal has never been simply to sell telescopes. We want to help you enjoy astronomy.

The universe is waiting. We’d be honored to help you explore it. Fred Bieler, founder of Astronomics, in our old Norman showroom.
