This lightweight Astrozap metal dew shield is made of rugged 20-gauge welded-seam aluminum. The interior is lined with contrast-enhancing black felt to absorb both stray light and moisture.

The Astrozap dew shield is finished in a texuture black. The durable powder-coated finish is baked on for long life and chip resistance.

Nylon thumbscrews in heavy-duty metal inserts lock onto the corrector plate rim to hold the dew shield onto the telescope optical tube and assure a secure fit.
