Astro-Tech V3 0.8x Reducer/Field Flattener For Astro-Tech AT130EDT or AT130EDX Triplet APO Refractor with 3.2" Focuser

This Astro-Tech AT130EDTRFV3 0.8X reducer/field flattener is designed specifically for prime focus astrophotography with the Astro-Tech AT130EDT, or AT130EDX, ED triplet apo with the 3.2" focuser. 

The fully-multicoated Astro-Tech AT130EDTRFV3 reducer/field flattener drops the 910mm focal length f/7 Astro-Tech AT130EDT, or AT130EDX, refractor to 728mm f/5.6, but flattens the field up to a full frame format camera.  This provides images that are sharply focused out to the corners of DSLR, CMOS, and CCD imaging chips. Stars look sharp and point-like all the way across the field in your images. You don't have to worry about photos that are sharp in the center and blurry at the edges.

The Astro-Tech AT130EDTRFV3 reducer/field flattener can be connected to your AT130EDT, or AT130EDX, with the 3.2" focuser using it's M92 threaded end.  The camera side have various threads available M78x1 female and M54x0.75 female.  There are also two threaded adapters that come with the flattener,  one is M48x0.75 male and the other is M42x0.75 for attaching industry standard t-rings. As expected the flattener is fully multi-coated and anti-reflective coated.

A threaded cover protects the T-threads when the reducer is not in use, while a second  cover is provided for the scope-side barrel. Back focus is 55mm from the shoulder of the reducer to the image plane, the standard spacing for imaging devices.  The top of the field flattener will also unthread from the body exposing a 2" filter thread on the bottom of the piece you just unthreaded.  This will allow you to put 2" filters in line with your imaging train without the need for a filter drawer or filter wheel.
