Questar 1.25" Mirror Diagonal for Brandon Eyepieces on a 3.5" Questar

The Questar #19107 is a mirror-type 90° viewing angle star diagonal for axial viewing with a 3.5" Questar telescope. It connects to the Cassegrain focus at the rear of the 3.5" Questar telescope control box by means of an optional #13071 swivel coupling. The diagonal uses a high reflectivity aluminized first-surface mirror and its 1.25" eyepiece holder is threaded to accept Questar eyepieces only.

Using the diagonal, in conjunction with a second eyepiece in the eyepiece holder on the top of the control box, allows you to switch between five different magnifications without having to change eyepieces - for example, the low power finderscope function through the standard low power top-mounted eyepiece, then the higher power finderscope function by flipping the built-in Barlow into the optical path, then normal low power view though the top-mounted eyepiece, then a medium power through the top-mounted eyepiece by flipping the built-in Barlow into place, and finally a high power eyepiece in the diagonal.
