This shield is made from durable, lightweight black ABS plastic with a velvet-lined interior that helps suppress stray light and adds a layer of thermal insulation. But the real magic is inside—an integrated low-wattage heating element built directly into the body of the shield. Just plug the included RCA connector into any compatible dew controller (sold separately), and the shield gently warms the front corrector plate, keeping dew at bay for hours on end.
