The AstroZap Flexi-Shield® dew shield for Celestron 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrains is specially designed to accommodate scopes that use a dovetail-style mounting bar along the side of the optical tube. A precision side notch in the dew shield allows it to wrap securely around the front cell without interfering with your mounting setup—making it perfect for fork-mounted scopes or those with top/bottom bar configurations.

Made from flexible yet rugged ABS plastic, the shield is felt-lined inside to cut glare and absorb stray light, while also slowing the cooling of your corrector plate to help prevent dew formation. The Velcro-style closure makes installation fast and secure, and the shield rolls up easily for transport or storage when the night is done.

Observing Tip:

Install your dew shield before temperature drops start to form condensation. Combined with a dew heater (if needed), a properly installed shield can dramatically reduce dew buildup, while also helping block ambient light from nearby houses, cars, or streetlamps.
