Designed specifically for 6" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, including the AVX-mounted optical tubes and the popular NexStar 6SE, this heated dew shield helps keep your corrector plate clear and dry—even during long imaging sessions or nights with heavy humidity.

Constructed from rugged yet lightweight ABS plastic, the Flexi-Heat dew shield wraps snugly around the front of your scope and secures easily with a full-length Velcro strip. Inside, a black felt lining absorbs stray light and minimizes internal reflections, improving image contrast while also buffering temperature changes that contribute to dew.

What sets this model apart is its built-in heating element—a low-wattage strip embedded directly into the shield body. This element connects to your existing dew controller (sold separately) via a standard RCA jack, allowing you to fine-tune the heat output based on observing conditions.
