Your 6" telescope may be compact and portable, but when it comes to dew, size doesn’t matter—moisture can still fog up your corrector plate or lens before you’ve even finished aligning your finder. The AstroZap Heater Strap for 6" telescopes is a lightweight, flexible solution designed to keep your optics clear, dry, and ready for observing at a moment’s notice.

Whether you’re using a 6" Schmidt-Cassegrain, Maksutov-Cassegrain, Newtonian, or refractor with a similar OTA diameter, this strap wraps neatly around the front of your scope. It features a low-wattage nichrome heating element embedded in a fabric-backed strip that distributes heat evenly across the surface. A Velcro closure ensures a snug fit, while a standard RCA plug makes it compatible with most 12V dew controllers (sold separately).
