With a 12" optical tube, you're collecting serious starlight—but also putting a large surface area at risk for dew. The AstroZap Heater Strap for 12" Telescopes delivers targeted, reliable heat to keep your corrector plate or front element clear during even the most humid observing sessions.

This heater strap is designed to wrap snugly around 12-inch Schmidt-Cassegrains, Ritchey-Chrétiens, Newtonians, and similar large-aperture scopes. It features a flexible, fabric-backed band with an embedded low-wattage nichrome heating element that delivers even warmth across the circumference of your OTA.

The strap fastens easily with a Velcro closure and plugs into your favorite dew controller (sold separately) via a standard RCA connector, giving you precise power regulation to match changing environmental conditions. Whether you're doing public outreach or capturing deep-sky photons all night long, this heater strap keeps your optics performing at their peak.

Observing Tip:
