AstroZap Dew Heater Strap for 9" & 10" Telescopes

If you’re observing with a 9" or 10" telescope, you’re sitting in the dew zone sweet spot—just large enough to deliver spectacular deep-sky views, and just large enough to fog over when the temperature drops. The AstroZap Dew Heater Strap for 9" and 10" scopes is engineered to prevent that, wrapping your optical tube with low, steady warmth to keep your corrector plate or front element dry all night.

This flexible strap is ideal for 9" and 10" Schmidt-Cassegrains, Ritchey-Chrétiens, Newtonians, and other optical designs. A low-wattage nichrome heating element is built into the fabric-backed band, delivering gentle, even heat across the full circumference of the OTA. It fastens securely with a Velcro strap, and connects to most standard dew controllers via a 12V RCA plug.

Whether you're tracking faint fuzzies or imaging planetary detail, this heater strap ensures your views stay clear and uninterrupted—even in humid or rapidly cooling conditions.

Observing Tip:
