This 2x Celestron X-Cel LX three-lens air-spaced fully multicoated 1.25" Barlow performs a lot more expensively than it costs . . .This Celestron X-Cel LX 1.25" Barlow is an air-spaced three-lens fully multicoated 2x Barlow that provides premium optical performance at a very non-premium price. It is optically corrected for use with any eyepiece type and telescope combination.

In addition to full multicoatings, the Celestron X-Cel LX Barlow has blackened lens edges and internal antireflection threading to virtually eliminate internal reflections. This assures high contrast images when observing bright targets, such as the Moon and planets.

The Celestron Barlow is threaded to accept standard 1.25" color and light pollution filters. Its compact 3" length allows you to use it comfortably in star diagonals. A non-marring brass compression ring holds your eyepieces securely in place. There's a rubber grip ring for a firm hold while handling the Barlow while wearing gloves in cold weather. A groove machined into the 1.25" barrel acts as a safety stop should your focuser thumbscrew accidentally loosen.
