Celestron 17 Pound Counterweight for Celestron CGEM Equatorial Mount

This Celestron 17 pound counterweight lets you balance extra-heavy accessory loads (such as a large photoguide refractor, accessory dovetail, mounting rings, and a camera) on a Celestron telescope using a Celestron CGEM computerized go-to equatorial mount. It will also let you install and balance a heavy non-Celestron scope on the Celestron CGEM mount (which comes with only one 11 pound counterweight as standard equipment). A hand-tighten knob holds the counterweight in place on the mount's declination shaft. It works with any mount having a 0.75" diameter couinterweight shaft.It will not work with the 1.25" counterweight shaft CGEM DX mount, which uses 22 pound counterweight #1742.
