Astrozap Dewshield Meade 16" SCT, White Finish Aluminum

This lightweight 20-gauge aluminum dewcap is lined with black felt to absorb both moisture and light. The powder-coated exterior finish is baked on for long life and chip resistance. The exterior is white to match the finish of all current and past Meade 16" Schmidt-Cassegrains. Nylon thumbscrews in heavy-duty metal inserts hold the dew cap onto the telescope optical tube. Due to its large size, special considerably higher cost dimensional weight charges apply for air freight shipment. If a lens shade for a 16" Meade is needed in a hurry and price is an issue, consider flexible plastic dewcap #1956 instead.
