Takahashi 25 mm Spacer for TOA‑130F (TKA31584)

The TKA31584 is a beautifully crafted, 25 mm-thick spacer designed specifically for the TOA‑130F when used alongside its 67 mm flattener. It provides the last ounce of finesse needed to balance mechanical structure, optical alignment, and back-focus, so starfields remain sharp and sweet-edged even when using larger full-frame sensors.

Its smooth, satin-black exterior and clean lettering (“TOA‑130”) echo the telescope itself. Internally, the threading fits like a glove, while externally the knurl carries hidden texture for confident hand-tightening. Under load—whether filter wheels, focusers, or cameras—this spacer holds everything square and steadfast.

Cloudy Nights Insight:
Users imaging with TOA‑130F and larger sensors often note that adding this spacer “finalized my back-focus chain,” and “allowed me to tighten the focuser without losing edge sharpness when switching filters.”

Observing Tip:
Add this spacer between the flattener and any camera or filter wheel. Doing so lets you adjust focus range, preserve parfocality between filters, and maintain corner-to-corner sharpness without drawing out the focuser unnecessarily.
