Observing Tip:
If you're using a refractor with a long focal length, or find your diagonal or camera getting too close to the tripod legs, this MiniPier is a simple and effective solution. It also helps when setting up on uneven terrain by giving your mount more flexibility in balancing and slewing positions without physical obstruction.
