Even mid-sized scopes need major protection from the moisture menace. The AstroZap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield is engineered to provide dual-layer defense for 5" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes—including classic Celestron 5" SCTs (excluding NexStar 5SE) and the popular Meade ETX-125 Maksutov-Cassegrain.

This model combines the light-blocking power of a traditional dew shield with the reliability of an integrated heating element, keeping your corrector plate clear, your contrast high, and your observing sessions uninterrupted. It’s built from flexible black ABS plastic for strength and portability, and features a Velvet-lined interior to absorb stray light and slow thermal radiation.

At the core of the Flexi-Heat shield is a low-wattage heater strip wired to a standard RCA connector, ready to plug into your favorite dew controller (sold separately). The wraparound Velcro closure ensures a snug, secure fit around the front of your OTA without tools or fuss.
