AstroZap Flexi-Heat® Heated Dew Shield – For Celestron NexStar Evolution 9.25" SCT
Built-In Dew Control and Glare Protection for Your Evolution 9.25"
AstroZap Flexi-Heat® dew shield is designed specifically for the Celestron NexStar Evolution 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain, combining the light-blocking and contrast-boosting benefits of a traditional dew shield with the power of a built-in heater strip to actively prevent dew formation on your corrector plate.
Constructed from lightweight but rugged ABS plastic, the dew shield wraps securely around the front cell of your SCT using a Velcro-style closure for quick setup. The felt-lined interior improves contrast by absorbing stray light while slowing radiative cooling of the corrector. And when dew threatens to form, the integrated heater strip gently warms the front glass to keep it clear—powered by a standard RCA plug compatible with most 12V dew controllers (sold separately).
This model is precision-fit for the Evolution 9.25" SCT without requiring a side notch.

Observing Tip:
For maximum effectiveness, activate the Flexi-Heat system at the beginning of your session. Keeping your corrector plate slightly warmed from the start prevents dew buildup and reduces the chance of having to interrupt your imaging or observing to clear moisture.
