This heavy-duty finderscope bracket is designed to fit the rear cell of Takahashi 78mm and larger refractor optical tubes only. It is painted Takahashi green to match the finish of the scopes’ rear cells and has a flat mounting shoe with holes spaced to fit the Takahashi rear cells only. The mounting ring is sized specifically to hold a Takahashi 6 x 30mm finderscope. Three chromed ball-head bolts in the front of the mounting ring center the finderscope body in the ring. Three hand-tighten non-marring nylon-tipped bolts in the rear of the ring collimate the finder with the main scope optics. Separate locking nuts on the collimating bolts hold the collimation firmly in place until you change it.
