| This triangular pressed aluminum accessory tray fits Vixen Super Polaris, Great Polaris, Great Polaris 2, Great Polaris DX, Great Polaris DX 2, Sphinx, and Porta mount aluminum tripods (you must flip the knob holder on the Porta mount to attach the tray). It keeps your observing accessories up and out of the dew-soaked grass. In addition, it locks the tripod legs in place to increase the overall stability of the tripod and help damp any small vibrations seen through the telescope at high powers. The tray attaches to the spreader bars of the tripods with three supplied hand-tighten wing nuts. It will also fit other similar tripods that have bolt holes in their spreader bars spaced about 9.5" apart. The base of each side of the triangular tray is 10.5" long It’s 9.5" from the center of each side of the tray to the tip of the triangle opposite. The tray has a 1" high raised lip on all sides to keep accessories in place.
