This is a unique product, a 90-degree viewing angle image erecting diagonal that looks like a standard star diagonal but provides right reading images for astronomical observing. It is designed to use 1.25" eyepieces in catadioptric telescopes with a 1.25" visual back or in refractors with a 1.25" focuser drawtube. It is not usable with reflectors. It is good for lunar observing, as it will show you the Moon in the same orientation as seen through binoculars and on many Moon maps in books and popular publications. It increases the magnification by approximately 8%. Two brass thumbscrews hold eyepieces firmly in place. It is fully coated for high light transmission. The clear aperture is approximately 3/4", so it many slightly vignette some very long focal length wide field eyepieces.
