This adapter allows you to use 1.25" eyepieces in a telescope having a 0.965" eyepiece holder, star diagonal, or focuser. It is made of machined aluminum, anodized black for long life. It has a brass thumbscrew to hold the 1.25" eyepiece securely in place. It is mainly for use in refractors or catadioptric telescopes (Maksutov-Cassegrains). A reflector may not have enough focuser in-travel available to reach a sharp focus with this adapter, as the adapter adds 1.25" to the telescope’s light path.
