These 115mm i. d. felt-lined white-painted metal tube rings fit the Vixen 102M achromat and ED102S ED, ED102SS ED, and FL102S apochromatic optical tubes, plus any other brand 115mm o. d. optical tube. They have 1/4"-20 thread holes for mounting on the Vixen AP3808 accessory plate and DP3809 dovetail plate. They will also attach to any equatorial or altazimuth mount with 1/4"-20 thread holes in flat mounting bosses.

The tube rings are split to allow for some variation in tube size, and to allow the tube rings to be slid up and down an optical tube for balancing purposes. However, they are not hinged. If the refractor optical tube has front and rear cells that are markedly larger in diameter than 115mm, one cell or the other will have to be unscrewed from the optical tube to allow the 115mm i. d. tube ring to slide onto the tube. Only one ring is shown in the images, but they are supplied only in pairs.
