| This compression ring eyepiece holder for 2" eyepieces allows the use of 2" star diagonals, eyepieces, and photo accessories on those Takahashi 4" to 6" refractors that use a 2.7" focuser drawtube (such as the FS-102, FS-128, FS-152, and TOA-130). The 2" holder threads directly onto the 2.7" focuser drawtube in place of the scope’s supplied 1.25" eyepiece holder. A knurled grip ring on the adapter makes it easy to install and remove the adapter, even in cold weather when wearing gloves. The 2" eyepiece holder uses a non-marring compression ring system that won’t scratch the barrels of your accessories or star diagonal, as ordinary thumbscrews can. Put your 2" eyepiece or star diagonal in the eyepiece holder. Tightening the chrome thumbscrews on the holder press on a soft brass split ring inside the eyepiece holder, clamping it on the barrel of your 2" accessory and holding it firmly in place.
