The P110 pillar is a heavy-duty metal pier designed for use with Vixen Great Polaris and Great Polaris DX equatorial heads. It is 43.3" (110cm) tall, 4" in diameter, and weighs 28.6 lbs.

While portable, it works best at a permanent observing site with a stable platform to sit it on – a concrete pad, observatory dome floor, etc. Leveling screws are provided on the three legs for very precise leveling of the tripod and mount for precision long exposure astrophotography applications.

If you have a stable platform to sit it on, the P110 pillar provides greater stability and vibration damping for high magnification observing and photography than a tripod.
