| This telecompressor lens threads into the focuser drawtube of the VC200LDG optical tube and reduces its effective focal length from an 1800mm f/9 system to a 1278mm f/6.4. This provides a wider prime focus photographic field, while still retaining the edge-to-edge flatness of the VC200LDG’s VISAC optical system. An optional #DW3878 universal direct wide photo adapter and T-ring is needed to connect this reducer lens to your particular camera body. The #DW3876 direct wide adapter works with Canon EOS cameras only and does not require a T-ring. Likewise, the #DW3877 adapter that works with Olympus cameras only also does not require a T-ring. You can also use the prime focus portion of the optional #CA3523 43mm DX camera adapter and an optional T-ring with this reducer lens. The reducer lens is 38mm thick and has 56mm diameter threads with a pitch of 0.75mm. It comes with the necessary adapter rings to connect to either a direct wide adapter or the 43mm DX adapter.
