Each eyepiece has a long 20mm eye relief that allows unvignetted viewing for eyeglass wearers. Soft rubber eyecups shield the unaided eye from ambient light when extended. The eyecups fold down for eyeglass use. There is a safety groove cut into each 1.25" chrome barrel. The groove engages the thumbscrew of your focuser to prevent the eyepiece from falling accidentally should the thumbscrew loosen during use in the heat of the day. Plastic dust caps are provided for both ends of each eyepiece and the Barlow. A rubber grip ring around each brass-colored body provides a sure grip in hot weather.

The plastic carrying case has a handle and plastic latch. The diecut rigid foam interior is cut out to cradle the eyepieces and Barlow securely.

These components are NOT hydrogen alpha solar filters and MUST be used in conjunction with a separate hydrogen alpha solar filter to avoid the possibility of instant and permanent eye damage!
