| This Celestron 11 pound machined counterweight lets you balance heavy accessory loads (such as a photoguide scope, accessory dovetail, mounting rings, and a camera) mounted on a Celestron telescope using a Celestron CG-5 or Advanced Series CG-5 computerized go-to equatorial mount. It will also let you balance a heavy non-Celestron scope installed on one of the above Celestron mounts (which come with only one 11 pound counterweight as standard equipment). A hand-tighten knob holds the counterweight in place on the mount’s declination shaft. |
