| This protective gear cover set for the Losmandy DSCH (Digital Setting Circle Hardware set) consists of a pair of machined Delrin gear covers and a pair of machined aluminum bearing covers. There are four covers total. The covers keep loose cables from your digital setting circles/aiming computer and/or drive hand control from getting caught in the encoder gears of your Losmandy GM-8 or G-11 equatorial mount. This keeps the gears from chewing up the cables, and keeps the cables from damaging the gears. The covers also protect the encoder bearings from loose dirt and debris in dusty environments or during transport. |
