| This battery pack holder works with all JMI Medium and Large Universal Wheeley Bar telescope transporters, except the Wheeley Bar designed for the Celestron CGE mount. It can be used with all tripod-mounted telescopes, but not with those using a pedestal or pier mount. It is made of black-painted pressed steel, with a lip that keeps the battery pack from sliding out of place when you move your scope. It mounts off to one side of the Wheeley Bar legs, to keep an optional battery pack from interfering with your tripod’s lower tension bars. It will hold a Celestron 17 amp hour Power Tank, as well as other similar large capacity power packs from other manufacturers. The photo shows the battery pack holder mounted on a Medium Universal Wheeley Bar with the 10” pneumatic wheel upgrade. The battery pack shown in the photo is optional. |
